MUSIC
Since I purchased the Pulp Fiction soundtrack on cassette tape as a kid, I have been interested in the field of music supervision. I was always very aware of the way music can affect the overall mood and tone of the visual it is synched with. As a film student, I experimented with audio visual combinations to further understand the psychology behind this. These experiments furthered my love of music which led to my career as a DJ, where I was able to build relationships in the music industry, and further my education and collection of music. This knowledge of the music and film industry has given me an innate ability to find the right track for any moment, and a great understanding of the business behind the scenes.

Since this was for a non profit, I was able to stretch the budget and search from a larger pool of options. The client fell in love with the track since the Tame Impala Remix on the Miguel hit song Waves perfectly speaks to the LA vibe portrayed in the spot.

EP1 - IRIS APFEL & LIL YACHTY (:60)
I connected with hip hop producer and great composer, Alex Goose to create this original track. Needed something that fit the different vibes of our 2 unique characters and also left room for the dialogue. Lots of people have been reaching out to Yachty figure out what this track is, maybe someday we can get him to flow on it!

We had a very limited budget and a tight timeline, but the content was great and everyone on the team was eager to make something cool. I connected with the amazing team at Massive Music to create an original composition for this 45 min Documentary about the “World of Outlaws” Racing Circuit. It was my first time taking on such a long project, but working with great partners on all fronts made it a smooth process. The trailer music is from the amazing composers at Audiomachine.

These were very simple spots that were meant to highlight a travel photo slideshow with a upbeat driving track. When I first heard the X-Ambassadors track “BOOM”, I knew it would be a great fit as it was clearly a track written for advertising. I was thrilled to be the first to synch it as I have now heard it in several other spots.

NEW MONEY SUPERBOWL LAUNCH
I discovered the track "Confident" by Demi Lovato months before it was released, then worked with Label and Publisher to negotiate a very complicated license for the only Superbowl spot produced by CP+B in 2016.

Q30 BORN TO CHALLENGE
After many rounds of searching, I threw in a wildcard track that was off brief. It was quickly approved once the client saw how well it fit. Licensed for EMEA.
LET GO
COMMERCIALIZER: PERFUME + 80s ACTION MOVIE TRAILER
Teamed up with Comma Music on this one. Did an edit of the classic "Habanera" for the perfume spot so that the hits in the track synched with the action to create satyrical poke at a traditional fragrance spot. For the Action Movie Trailer we took a stab at the over the top trailer music from 80s classics, creating some really funny moments.

For this series of 3 player films(Curry, Harden, and Davis), we worked with Squeak-E-Clean Music to create some awesome original compositions that each have a very unique feel relative to each player/spot.

NBA2K allowed us to choose a track from the game soundtrack for this one and we landed on "Made You Look" by Nas to bring that real classic hip hop vibe.

"No Diggity" by Blackstreet was an insanely difficult track to license with over 12 parties involved, however, it was totally worth the effort to put this spot over the top.
TEST
This was only a library track, but the magic came when I suggested to let the music drop out when he kicks the guy. Comic gold.
PLASTIQUE
This mocumentary was full of library tracks and an all original rap song about "See Through Threads", created by Jinglepunks.

CAPTAIN OBVIOUS RUNS FOR PRESIDENT: ANNOUNCEMENT
Had to go with the classic presidential vibe for the Announcement spot. Found some public domain library tracks to help keep the budget down. We also did a short clip for every state that contained state specific music as well as our presidential sting over the end card. This one from Colorado was a fan favorite.
